Once we set up the account settings, we can move to the Production module. Production Order is a transaction where you record the completion of manufacturing stages, finished products, costs, and time of production.
In Kladana, production begins with creating a Bill of Materials (BoM). This document defines the raw materials, and processes required to manufacture a product. It also includes details on labor costs and operational expenses at each stage of production, ensuring efficient planning and resource management.
How to create a BoM:
- Create Operations first (or skip to Step 2 — you can also add Operations there using the plus button).
- Create a Routing — this step is mandatory and must be done in the Routing section.
- Go to the BoM — add materials, finished goods, labor costs, and employees if needed.
