Our company has a specific sequence of production operations. During production, we want to control manufacturing in each operation. The production process must follow a strict sequence of operations: an unfinished product cannot go to the next operation until the previous one is completed.
Each product or product category manufacturing can have specific Routing. In our company, each product has quite the same manufacturing sequence of operations.
In Kladana we will add 3 Routings:
For clothing without simple cuts, we add 1 Routing with all operations, so that we can use 1 production order to manufacture the finished product.
For clothing with complex cuts and elements, we add 2 Routings:
First - to manufacture firstly parts of clothing (interface, sleeve, collar, pocket, bodice, rock, etc);
Second - to assemble all parts of clothing.
In the video below I am showing how I add Routing for products with a simple cut.
