The Online Order application makes it easy to start selling online and manage both wholesale and retail sales.
Online Orders lets you create a simple online storefront with information about your company and a product catalog. Your product catalog and prices are synchronized automatically with Kladana, so you never have to update them manually.
To start selling, simply share a public link to your product catalog or an individual product in an email campaign, advertisement, or social media post. Customers can browse your products and place orders on their own. Orders are created automatically in Kladana, in Sales Orders section. Product cards in the public catalog include structured data (schema markup), making them discoverable and indexable by search engines.
For wholesale sales, you can share personalized product catalogs with customer-specific pricing.
Customers can place orders using the shared link without signing in. After signing in, they gain access to their personal account, where they can view their order history and use previous orders to create new ones.

Installation
- In the Kladana workspace, select Applications → Online Order App.
- Click Install.
- Click Open app.
Settings
Create list of products
Create the list of products you want to sell:

Select the Item group — the group of products to sell. You can select some groups. The products from the groups are added to the product list. The product list is offered for ordering by default. You can also create a personal group of products for a certain counterparty. If the group is not specified, every product and service from your catalog is added to the list.
Filtering by group shows only the first nesting level products in the product list. The second and more nesting level products are added to the product list, but they are not displayed. - Select the products to display in the product list: All products, services and bundles, Only On Hand products, or Only Available products.
- If Only On Hand products or Only Available products are selected, services and bundles are not displayed in the list of products.
- If Only On Hand products or Only Available products are selected, indicate the Warehouse. Only the products from the warehouse are displayed in the product list. If All products, services and bundles are selected, the stock in the warehouse is not counted. If the warehouse is specified, it is displayed in the Sales Order.
- If Only On Hand products are selected, the quantity of products in the warehouse stock is taken into account when placing an order. Select the Allocate ordered products to committed stock checkbox for the correct accounting of the stock.
- Select Show products description checkbox to display product description from Kladana product cards to your customers.
- Specify warehouses, the products from which you want to display in the list.
- Choose your company to take Sales Orders created by the customers.
- Click Save.
To change the settings, go to Applications → Online Order App.
Create link to the list of products
Use the public link to create a product list for all customers. A personal link allows you to create a product list for a specific customer.
Public link
- In the Kladana workspace, select Applications → Online Order App.
- Select the Create a public link checkbox.
- Select the type of price.
- Click Save.
- Click Copy. Place the link where necessary.
When using the link, your customer needs to enter the name or company name and phone number. The contact information is added as a comment to the Sales Order.
Personal link
- In the Kladana workspace, select Counterparties → Customers & Suppliers.
- Select the counterparty in the list of counterparties.
- In the Discounts and prices section, select the prices you want to set for the products for the counterparty.
- Click Save.
- Go to Applications → Online Order App.
- If you want to offer the counterparty a special product group, select the Item group available on the link. The group indicated in the app settings is set by default.
- Select the Create a public link checkbox.
- Click Copy. Send the link to your counterparty.
Currency Settings
Prices are displayed in the accounting currency set in Kladana.
To change the currency in the app, modify it in Kladana. The prices will remain the same and must be adjusted manually. For example, if you change the accounting currency from rupees to dollars, the price of 100 rupees will become 100 dollars. To ensure the prices are accurate, calculate and specify them manually.
How to create an order
When your customer follows the link, the catalog of products opens. The customer can choose the items and place the order. To share the following instructions with your customers, copy the URL of the page.
- Click + to add items to your order. To find a particular product use the search or scroll the list.
- Indicate the number of each item. Enter the number or use + and — to increase or decrease it. If Only On Hand products are selected in the app settings, it is not possible to order more units of the product, than are available in stock.
- Click on the cart and check the items added. If it is correct, click Place order.
- Indicate your contact information: phone number, the name of the contact person, or the name of the company (only for new customers).
- Add a comment to the order if necessary. It could be, for example, a delivery address.
- Click Place order. After you have successfully placed an order, you see the following message:
Common errors
If errors occur when creating online orders, check the Sales Order settings:
- In the Kladana workspace, select Sales → Sales Orders.
