Outdated items may clutter up your catalog and be quite annoying. The best practice is to archive these items to clean up your catalog. Instead of deleting, archiving only hides items but not deletes them. They are still stored in Kladana, so you can access them when needed or even unarchive and continue working with them.
Archived items are grey out and have the "A" mark. They aren't displayed in the catalog or in-stock balance and you cannot add them to purchase or sale transactions.
Archive product, service or bundle
- In the Kladana workspace, select Inventory → Products and Services.
- Select an item you want to archive and open the item card.
- In the item card, click Archive.
- Click Save.
Archive product variant
Archiving is flexible and lets you archive separate product variants while keeping active the product itself.
- Open the product card.
- In the Variants section, select the product variant you want to archive.
- In the opened window, click Archive.
- Click Save.
After the item is archived the Archive button changes to the Unarchive. You can also follow these steps to unarchive items.
Archive and unarchive items in bulk
- In the Kladana workspace, select Inventory → Products and Services.
- Select items you want to archive.
- Click Edit → Archive.
