Outdated items can clutter up your catalog and become quite bothersome. The best practice is to archive these items to streamline your catalog. Archiving, unlike deleting, merely hides items without permanently removing them. Archived items remain stored in Kladana, allowing you to access them whenever necessary. You can easily unarchive them to resume working.
Archived items are grayed out and marked with an «A». They do not appear in the catalog or stock balance, and you cannot include them in transactions.
Archive product, service or bundle
- In the Kladana workspace, select Inventory → Products and Services.
- Select an item you want to archive and open the item card.
- In the item card, click Archive.
- Click Save.
Archive product variant
Archiving is flexible and lets you archive separate product variants while keeping active the product itself.
- Open the product card.
- In the Variants section, select the product variant you want to archive.
- In the opened window, click Archive.
- Click Save.
After the item is archived the Archive button changes to the Unarchive. You can also follow these instructions to unarchive items.
Archive and unarchive items in bulk
- In the Kladana workspace, select Inventory → Products and Services.
- Select items you want to archive.
- Click Edit → Archive.
