Price types settings
When adding an item card you can specify three types of prices:
- Minimum price
- Purchase price
- Sale price
All prices are linked to the item. When you add an item to the sale or purchase transaction, its price is also added. It helps you to avoid mistakes with prices.
Minimum price
Minimum price is the lowest sale price of an item. This price type helps to prevent selling at loss during season sales or by a seller mistake. When the entered price is less than the minimum, Kladana lights the price red to pay your attention.
- Open the item card.
- In the Prices section, specify the Minimum Sale Price.
- Click Save.
In addition to the minimum price, we highly recommend setting up the price autocorrecting. If the entered price is less than the minimum one, Kladana automatically corrects it to the minimum value.
- Click the user icon and select Settings → Account Settings.
- Select the checkbox Automatically correct sale prices in transaction below Minimum Price.
- Click Save.
Purchase price
It’s the price you pay for the item. It is automatically entered into the purchase transactions. When calculating the prime cost, this type of price is not taken into account.
- Open the item card.
- In the Prices section, specify the Purchase Price.
- Click Save.
Sale price
You can add as many sale prices for one item as you need. They can be intended for different offers, sales or customers and you can quickly switch between them when creating sales transactions.
- Open the item card.
- In the Prices section, click Setup prices.
- In the opened window, specify the sale price name.
- If you want to add more prices, click +Sale Price.
- Use arrows to change the price order. The price on top of the list is always used in transactions as the main one.
- Click Save.
- Specify the value for each sale price.
- Click Save.
