Bulk editing of prices is essential when you need to change prices for thousands of items at once instead of manual editing them one by one. It’s perfect for such purposes as:
- Increase sale prices, if your costs have raised
- Reduce prices, if you need to get rid of dead stock
- Create a new sale price and assigning it for multiple items
- Quickly set discounts
- Change currency
Price editor allows you to set prices to exactly the values or based on existing prices.
- In the Kladana workspace, select Inventory → Products and Services.
- Select items to bulk edit prices in one of the following ways:
- Select checkboxes
Price changes will apply only to selected items. - Select folder
Price changes will apply to all items in the folder and its subfolders. - Select nothing
Price changes will apply to all items in the catalog.
- Select checkboxes
- Click Change → Prices…
- In the opened window, specify the price type you want to change.
- If you want to change currency, select a new one from the Currency drop-down list.
- Specify a new price in one of the following ways:
- If you want selected items to have the same price, select Absolute value and specify it.
- If you want to count a price from the existing one, select According to another price value and use a price calculator. Select the price to calculate from, what to do with this price (increase or reduce) and how much to change it (in fixed value or percentage).
- If you want to round up the calculated result, in the drop-down list, select the number of digits to the left of the decimal point.
- Click Save prices.
You can also open the Price Editor window from the transaction without returning to the Product and Services section.
