Tables in Kladana are available in the new and old designs. When switching to the new design, additional capabilities become available. The workflow for transactions and data remains unchanged. The old design will remain available for some time but will be decommissioned later.
Old design
In the old, familiar design of tables, you can configure columns: adjust the number of rows and their width, and change and reorder values in lists. Below is an overview of how tables work in the old design, using the Shipments section as an example.
Column display settings
To work only with the required columns, click . In the opened window, select the columns you need and remove those you do not use with checkboxes. At the bottom of the list, specify the number of rows (Show per page) — 25, 50, or 100.
To change column width, hover the mouse pointer over the gray boundary between column headers. A draggable divider will appear, allowing you to adjust the width left or right.
Sorting values in ascending and descending order
To sort values in a column in ascending or descending order, click the column header. Two small triangle arrows will appear above the column title. If they are not shown, sorting is not available for that column.
New design
In the new design of tables, in addition to column configuration, new capabilities are available: filtering data, selecting rows and performing bulk actions, and configuring row density.
Filters
Table data can now be filtered not only using Filter but also directly from the column header. To do this, select conditions or values in the header — for example, filled or empty.
The table displays information about applied filters:
- the number of active filters is shown above the list;
- filter icons are displayed in column headers;
- saved filters are now shown in the table area; their functionality remains unchanged.
Rows
After selection, the number of selected items is displayed. Row actions become available.
The actions panel for rows is now located inside the table area rather than next to the header. The set of actions and their behavior remain unchanged.
For single-row actions, you can now use the context menu.
You can configure row density in the table:
- Compact — more rows on the screen;
- Comfort — increased padding and larger text size.
This switch is available in the table settings. As before, you can also choose which columns are displayed in the table.
