The Sales Funnel Report provides a complete view of the journey that Sales Orders and counterparties go through, helping you assess the efficiency of current processes and employees, identify problem areas in the sales flow, and forecast the profit.
The report follows a conversion funnel model, which means it displays information about Sales Orders and counterparties that are in specific statuses, have moved through them, or should have but missed them for some reason. For example, if a Sales Order has five statuses but was immediately moved to the successful final status upon creation, bypassing all intermediate ones, it will be counted in all five statuses within the Sales Funnel Report.
The report is available in two options: By Orders and By Customers. To view the report, go to Sales → Sales Funnel and select the desired option.
The report contains the following data:
- Workflow — the name of the status.
- Quantity — the number of Sales Orders and counterparties that have gone through or are currently in this status. The percentage in parentheses represents the share of Sales Orders or counterparties relative to the initial stage of the Sales Funnel.
- Date Created — calculated as the total time that Sales Orders or counterparties spent in the status divided by the number of Sales Orders or counterparties that were actually in this status and did not skip it.
- Conversion — calculated as Quantity ÷ Previous Row Quantity × 100%.
- Total — the total number of Sales Orders that passed through or are currently in this status.
Report generation features
- The report includes Sales Orders that are not drafts and not in the trash, as well as non-archived counterparties.
- To generate the report, at least three statuses of the following types are required: Regular, The successful end, and The unsuccessful end. There is no limit to the number of Regular and The unsuccessful end statuses, but only one The unsuccessful end status is allowed.
- The display of the report is affected by the order of Regular statuses, which can be configured when setting up statuses. Changing the order of statuses will alter the data in the Sales Funnel as it adjusts the sequence of statuses that a Sales Order or counterparty passes through.
- The successful end and The unsuccessful end statuses will always be considered last in the Sales Funnel, even if they are configured in a different order when setting up statuses for a Sales Order or counterparty.
- If a Sales Order or counterparty is moved from a Regular status directly to The unsuccessful end status, it will not be displayed in intermediate stages.
- If a Sales Order or counterparty is created not in the initial Regular status but in an intermediate one, it will still appear in the Sales Funnel as having passed through all previous statuses.
- The Sales Funnel Report does not reflect the exact sales amount, as it considers the cumulative amount of all intermediate statuses. To find the exact amount, view the Profit Report.
