A Picking Wave is a document that records all picking and packing activities for Sales Orders.
Picking Waves allow you to organize a unified fulfillment process for multiple Sales Orders. Instead of processing each order individually, create a single Picking Wave document. Аll Sales Orders included in it can be picked and packed at once. This helps speed up order fulfillment, reduce staff workload, and simplify warehouse planning.
All Picking Wave documents are available in Warehouse → Picking Waves.
You can find a specific document using Search and Filter.
Create Picking Wave
- In the Kladana workspace, select Sales → Sales Orders.
- Select the documents in the list on which the Picking Wave should be created.
- Click Add Related and select Picking Wave.
- The opened document contains all items from the selected Sales Orders and the information required for picking:
- Warehouse, Expected Shipment Date, Comment;
- The By Sales Orders tab displays the list of Sales Orders, including the Sales Order number, creation date, counterparty, and the products included in each Sales Order;
- The By Products tab displays the list of items, including the supplier code, SKU, and quantity of each item.
- Click Save.
To open a Sales Order from a Picking Wave, click the Sales Order number in the Picking Wave document.
You can also remove a Sales Order from a Picking Wave document. To do this, click the three dots in the order row, then select Delete.
Add Sales Order to Picking Wave
- In the Kladana workspace, select Warehouse → Picking Waves.
- Select a Picking Wave document from the list.
- In the document, click +Add Order.
- Use the filter to find the required Sales Orders. Specify the search criteria and click Find.
- In the list of results, select the orders you want to add to the Picking Wave and click Add.
- The selected sales orders will be added to the Picking Wave.
- Click Save.
Working with Picking Waves
A Picking Wave document can be deleted. To do this:
- In the Kladana workspace, select Warehouse → Picking Waves.
- Select the required document from the list.
- To delete the document, click the Trash icon and select Delete.
