Successful inventory control hinges on knowing what products you have in your stock and how many of them you have. Regular monitoring of your stock is the key to efficient inventory management.
To monitor the level of your stock use the Stock report. The Stock report can be performed in three variants:
Go to the Inventory → Stock and click By Products, By Warehouses or By Bins to select the preferable report variant.
Use the filters to find the stock balance you exactly needs. You can sort the data:
- by Product and Product variants,
- by Warehouse,
- by Stock,
- by Storage Bin,
- by Date and time,
- by Supplier.

Days In Stock Calculation
The Days in Stock is calculated using the following formula:
The sum of ((Current Date − Date of Receiving) * Unsold Items) / On Hand Quantity
Example:
- On the 1st of the month, 10 books were received, 4 of which were sold.
- On the 10th, another 9 books were received, none of which have been sold.
- On the 19th, the report is generated: ((19 − 1) * 6 + (19 − 10) * 9) / 15 = 12.6 days in stock
Explanation of the Calculation:
- 19 — Current date.
- 1 — The date of the first receiving to the warehouse.
- 6 — Remaining items from the first receiving (10 − 4).
- 10 — The date of the second receiving to the warehouse.
- 9 — Remaining items from the second receiving (none sold).
- 15 — The total quantity of items in stock (On Hand Qty). This is the sum of the remaining items from the first and second receivings (6 + 9).
- To view detailed information about an item, click anywhere on its row except for the product name.
