Sometimes product stock level in Kladana may differ from the expected one. Let’s regard the most typical cases.
Wrong warehouse
Your company has some warehouses. In this case, if you have specified different warehouses for the Receiving and Shipment of the same product, the Stock (On Hand) in the Shipment is equal to zero.
Transaction marked as "Draft"
If you marked as Draft Receiving, Shipment, and Transfer, the transaction item quantity no longer changes the warehouse stock.
Shipment before Receiving
If for the product the date of the Receiving is later than the date of the Shipment, the Stock (On Hand) in the Shipment is equal to zero.
Stock Movement analysis
Use the Stock Movement report if the cause of the stock discrepancy is difficult to detect, especially if you have lots of transactions in the Kladana workspace.
- In the Kladana workspace, select Inventory → Stock Movement.
- Click Filter and specify the period which includes all the transactions.
- Click Find. The list of products received and shipped for the selected period is displayed. If you know the period when incorrect stock level calculation occurred, indicate it to reduce the number of documents to be analyzed.
- Click on the row of the product with the wrong stock. The list of all the related transactions is displayed for the indicated period. The transactions are sorted by type.
