Price changing in transactions

You can edit prices in the following sections: Sales, Purchases, Financials, Products and Services. Let’s review all the price editing options using the example of a Sales Order transaction.

Change price of an item in transaction

1. In the kladana workspace, select Sales → Sales Orders.
2. Create a Sales Order or select a Sales Order from the list.
3. In the row of the product whose price you want to edit, place the cursor in the Price field.
4. Enter a new price or select the price from the list of price types.
5. Click Save.

Change prices of items in transaction

1. In the kladana workspace, select Sales → Sales Orders.
2. Create a Sales Order or select a Sales Order from the list.
3. Check the items whose prices you want to change using checkboxes. If you do not select any items, all the item prices in the transaction will be changed.
4. Click on the Price column header and select Change price in transaction from the dropdown menu.
5. Select the price you want to set for the items:
   • Unit cost + markup;
   • Certain price type.
     
6. Click Save.
7. Click Save.

Counterparties prices

When changing the counterparty in a transaction, the prices may also change if prices of a certain type are assigned to that counterparty.

Change prices for items in catalog

You can save the prices of the items from a transaction to the product cards of the items for future use. For example, to set the current supplier prices or update sales prices.

1. In the Kladana workspace, select Sales → Sales Orders.
2. Create a Sales Order or select a Sales Order from the list.
3. Check the items whose prices you want to save using checkboxes. If you do not select any items, all the item prices in the transaction will be edited in the product cards.
4. Click on the Price column header and select Change prices for items in catalog from the dropdown menu.
5. Set the price change rules:
   • Price type to be changed — select the price type you want to change;
   • Currency — select the currency from the dropdown menu if you want to change it for the selected price type;
   • New price value — set the absolute value if the same price should be applied to all items, or specify how to calculate the new value;
   • Rounding up — specify the rounding precision. Prices will be rounded up.
     
6. Click Save. The prices will be updated in the product cards in the Inventory → Products and Services section.
