In the Production section, you can plan the production process, control its execution, write off the raw materials used, register the time spent and fix the process divergences.
For manufacturing a product you need to execute the following steps:
- Add product cards for raw materials and produced items. In the Kladana product catalog each product can be both the material and the result of the production process.
- Create Routing. It consists of Production Operations. The same Routing can be used in different Bills of Materials to produce different products.
- Configure Bill of Materials. Bill of Materials (BOM) describes the production processes, raw materials and costs for each stage.
- Create Production Order. Production Order is a key transaction of a production process. It contains information on the production operations, raw materials and costs, and the time spent.
Production Results
Kladana supports different inventory accounting methods for production. Choose the method that best fits your manufacturing process and business requirements.
To analyze the movement of products in the warehouse in a certain period of time, use the Stock Movement report.
To calculate wages for employees involved in production operations, use the Labor Cost Report. Labor costs are included in the cost of finished goods and other production totals.
