Production Operation is a completed part of a production process (e.g. mixing of ingredients, cutting of fabric).
Production Operations are used for the following:
- Raw materials and production cost control;
- Production time tracking;
- Production progress monitoring.
Routing is a sequence of Production Operations. First, create the Production Operations, and then use them to create a Routing. Different Routings can contain the same operations.
In the Kladana workspace, there is the Main Routing. It includes the Main Operation. You can edit it or create your own Routing.
Further, while creating a Bill of Materials, you should specify a Routing and indicate the materials and costs required for each operation.
Create Production Operation
- In the Kladana workspace, select Production → Production Operations.
- Click +Operation.
- Enter the Name and Description.
- Select the warehouse from which the raw materials for the operation will be sourced. If no warehouse is selected, the default warehouse set in your profile settings will be used.

In the Production Order, only the specified employees will be available for assignment to the Production Operation.
