The Shop Floor App allows production employees to access information about Production Orders in a user-friendly format, mark production operations as completed during Process Tracking, and view their wages for a specific period. The app is designed for both employees with and without access to Kladana.
The Shop Floor App is accessible on any device with an internet connection.
Setting up access for employees
To configure access to the Shop Floor App for an employee without access to Kladana:
- In the Kladana workspace, click on the user icon and select Settings → Employees.
- Add a new employee or select an employee from the list.
- In the User roles section, select the role Shop Floor employee.
- Click Save.
- Provide the employee with the link to access the Shop Floor App.
Only a user with the system role of Administrator can configure employee access.
Using the app
- To access the application, use the provided link or, in the Kladana workspace, select Production → Production Orders and click Open Shop Floor App.
- Enter the username and password to sign in. An email with the login details is automatically sent to the employees upon their addition to Kladana.
- If there are production operations where you are the Supervisor and can select performers for the operation, click on your username at the top of the screen and check the Mark performers checkbox to enable performer selection.
- In the To Do tab, all the job tasks (production operations of Production Orders) that need to be completed are listed, while in the Done tab, you’ll find all the tasks you have finished. You can find the required task in the following ways:
- Configure the search parameters in the Filter;
- Enter the task name in the Search field;
- Click on the scanner icon in the Search field and scan the task’s QR code.
- If a due date is specified in the Production Order, it is also displayed for the corresponding task in the app. You can plan and execute tasks both with and without a due date. Tasks with a due date are listed first, in ascending order by date. If a task’s due date is past, it is highlighted in red.

To view the list of raw materials and task instructions, click on the task. Files in the instructions can be downloaded.
- If you are the Supervisor (the Mark performers checkbox is enabled), you can assign performers to tasks. Click the menu icon and select Planning.
Choose the tasks you want to distribute among performers, then click Distribute. - Enter the number of tasks for each performer and click Apply. To distribute the tasks equally among all performers, click Distribute equally.
- If you are the Supervisor, you can mark the performer for a certain task. In the To Do tab, enter the quantity of items to produce or process for the selected task. Click Complete. Select the performer. Click Select.
- If you are the Performer, in the To Do tab, enter the quantity of items you plan to produce or process for the selected task. The total quantity to be completed is indicated next to the input field. Click Complete.
If a Production Order includes multiple Bills of Materials, they are executed by default in the order they were added. Changing the order of the Bills of Materials in the Production Order updates the sequence of tasks in the Shop Floor App accordingly. - After the task is completed, it is displayed in the Done tab.
To edit or cancel the completion of a task, click on the task and make the necessary changes. - If any scrap is produced during the production process, go to the To Do tab, swipe the completed task to the left, and click Record scrap.
Enter the scrap quantity and specify the reason. If you are the Supervisor for this operation, assign the performer of the task. Click Save. - At the bottom of the screen, in Work results, the quantity of items produced/processed and the earnings for the last 30 days are displayed.
- To view your work results for today or the last 7 days, select the desired period at the bottom of the screen and click Select.
- To check the earnings and the number of job tasks for the period, click on the username at the top.
