Supply (Stock Replenishment) automates the reordering of your products and materials to meet customer demand. It can be useful when you aim to maintain inventory at an optimal level and save on warehousing costs.
In Kladana, you can replenish stock based on Sales Orders and Internal Orders. As an example, let’s consider the creation of a Supply (Stock Replenishment) from Sales Orders.
- Create Supply (Stock Replenishment) for multiple Sales Orders
- Create Supply (Stock Replenishment) for specific items in a Sales Order
Create Supply (Stock Replenishment) for multiple Sales Orders
- In the Kladana workspace, select Sales → Sales Orders.
- Select the orders to replenish stock.
- Click Add Related → Supply (Stock Replenishment).
-
The replenishment list contains product items from all selected orders. Duplicate items are merged. You can sort product items by any parameter. If you don’t want to order certain products now, remove them from the list. To do this, select the items and click Delete.
- In the Supply stock by column, specify how to supply the stock. Indicate the transaction for each product or click Supply stock by and select a transaction for all products in the list.
- Select the Source-to-Supply: Bill of materials (BOM), Supplier, or Warehouse.
- In the Amount column, enter the amount to supply for each product, or click Amount and select a method to calculate the reorder quantity:
- Based on available stock — calculates the quantity needed to fulfill the Sales Order.
- Based on stock-on-hand — determines how much is missing to complete the Sales Order.
- Same as ordered quantity — uses the ordered quantities as the reorder amounts.
- Click Create.
For each supplier you have specified, the Purchase Order is created. The same will be done for unique Bills of Materials specified for Production Orders.
